With a history of 58 years, Shandong Vocational College of Foreign Trade is the earliest full-time higher vocational college engaged in foreign trade education in Shandong Province. It has more than 12,000 students and the employment rate of its graduates is more than 95%. In order to solve the talent demands of foreign trade enterprises in Liaocheng, especially cross-border e-commerce enterprises, and help the high-quality development of foreign trade in Liaocheng, the municipal Bureau of Commercial Investment Promotion and Shandong Vocational College of Foreign Trade reached a strategic cooperation intention on the cultivation of foreign trade professionals: first, the school regularly sends a team of cross-border e-commerce practical experts to Liaocheng for training and teaching, to do a good job in the incubation and cultivation of cross-border e-commerce subjects; Second, the three parties of government, university and enterprise joint orientation training of Foreign trade College Liaocheng students, support graduates to return home employment, entrepreneurship; Third, the two sides jointly plan to hold provincial-level foreign trade professional talent competition; Fourth, carry out long-term cooperation on cross-border e-commerce subject review, cross-border e-commerce subject research and other matters.
Subsequently, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the cooperation intention and unveiled the cross-border e-commerce training base of Shandong Vocational College of Foreign Trade (Liaocheng). In the next step, both sides will highlight the "government, school and enterprise" cooperation mode, with the goal of cultivating practical talents, do a good job in the organic combination of incubation and cultivation activities and business practice, effectively promote the seamless docking of graduates and enterprise talent needs, and help Liaocheng's foreign trade high-quality development.
